APGA Legislative Summit

Every year, APGA members travel to Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Establishing relationships with policymakers helps in efforts to advocate successfully. Many members of APGA’s Public Gas Policy Council (PGPC) also attend and participate in meetings on the Hill.

In addition to meeting with their congressional delegations, the Legislative Summit provides an opportunity to receive updates on Advocacy Priorities and training on how best to engage with policymakers throughout the year, both in D.C. and their states or districts.

The APGA Legislative Summit takes place in January in coordination with the Winter Board and Committee Meetings.
