APGA COVID-19 Resources Are Still Available

As October starts and we realize we have made it through another month having faced challenges from COVID-19, APGA staff would like to remind members of the resources available on our website. Please go to www.apga.org/covid to access these. While states are taking different approaches in the response, the resources available should still be applicable. As well, with our country progressing on developing treatment options and a vaccine, the website will be updated with relative information.

One item to highlight is a new document being released by the National Academy of Sciences. It is related to prioritizing vaccination; and, critical infrastructure employees like public natural gas utility workers are recommended to be considered for prioritization because of their job function and exposure to risks. APGA staff is participating in a webinar on this new document that will occur on October 2, and will update members on appropriate discussions. As well, this event is open to the public; please click here to learn more about attending and the report itself.

Another new resource to highlight is from the Electricity Subsector Coordinating Council (ESCC). While the pandemic is not over, the interim review developed by this group, with support from APGA staff, does provide valuable details to consider. It does include some sensitive information, thus please contact APGA staff at ssaulters@apga.org to obtain a copy.
