2024 APGA Operations Conference: October 22-24



Thank you to attendees of our 2023 Operations Conference in Louisville, KY! Save the dates of  October 22-24, 2024, on your calendar for next year's Operations Conference in Knoxville, TN.

This event typically attracts over 250 natural gas distribution industry professionals from more than 70 public gas systems to learn about topics such as PHMSA's Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization Grant Program, methane emission mitigation strategies, and new technology along with an exhibitor hall. 

The 2024 Operations Conference will be preceded by the APGA Fall Board & Committee Meetings held October 20-22 in  Knoxville, TN, for our members serving on APGA's board, committees, and task groups.

SPEAKER NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN

APGA is pleased to announce that we have officially opened our call for 2024 Operations Conference speaker submissions! The Operations Conference program will be developed using the volunteers, nominations, and recommendations through this form. You are free to nominate yourself, a colleague, or a great presenter you have seen at another conference. Note: Strong preference for presentation slots will be given to APGA members. If you are interested in becoming an APGA member, please contact Sheila Deringis (sderingis@apga.org).

Operations Conference Agenda


As APGA prepares the agenda for the 2024 Operations Conference, please view the past year's agenda to see the type of sessions this event offers attendees. The 2023 APGA Operations Conference had speakers and panels of experts on topics such as pipeline safety regulations, PHMSA's Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization Grant Program, methane emission mitigation strategies, case studies from community-owned utilities, and will also include an exhibitor hall of the latest in products and services for natural gas distribution operations.

The APGA Operations Conference provides professional development hours (PDH) for the entire conference.  PDHs are required by many states to maintain professional engineering licensure.
