Enrollment for the 2020 System Operational Achievement Recognition (SOAR) program is now open through February 28, 2020. Operating a safe and efficient distribution system is at the core of every APGA member's mission. Once again, in 2020 APGA will recognize public natural gas systems that epitomize operational excellence. SOAR applications are now being accepted.

New in 2020 is the introduction of questions specifically targeting a member’s Pipeline Safety Management Systems (PSMS) journey. The questions are focused on a member’s commitment to learning about PSMS and how the principles found in the API Recommended Practice may best fit into their systems culture and operations.

Continuing in 2020, current SOAR participants (those that have applied in the previous three years) have access to an additional benefit: participation in Virtual Roundtables. During those roundtables, members share their best practices, challenges in implementing those practices, and lessons learned.

The SOAR Task Group will be available to answer questions on the application process on Tuesday February 4. Register here.
