Board & Committee Meetings: Jan. 26-28



The APGA Board and Committee Meetings is a quarterly event, and the Winter 2020 event will take place January 26-28 at the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria in Houston, Texas.

APGA's most important work is performed through committees, subcommittees and task forces comprised of volunteer APGA members, and they meet in-person four times a year.

Attendees will get to hear and participate in:

  • APGA Board of Directors meeting
  • Various committee meetings Monday & Tuesday (January 27-28)
  • APGA Research Foundation Board Meeting & GTI Emerging Technology Workshop
    • Ryan Kerr of GTI will be talking about the Micro Combined Heat and Power & Gas Heat Pump Roadmap. Where the technologies are right now in development, next steps, and companies that are working with the development teams and processes.

  • Stay for the January 28-29 2020 APGA Gas Supply Conference or 2020 APGA Marketing & Policy Conference (Registration fee $495 for APGA members and $695 for non-members)

Who Should Attend

APGA members who serve on the Board of Directors and various committees & taskforces. All APGA members are welcome to attend the committee meetings, except where noted it is a closed meeting.

The 2020 APGA Winter Board and Committee Meetings will take place January 26-28 at the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria in Houston, Texas. Located in the heart of Uptown Houston, the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria is less than 45 minutes from the Houston Airport (IAH)/George Bush International Airport.

APGA Marketing & Policy Conference


The APGA Marketing & Policy Conference is an annual event focusing on how to communicate the benefits of natural gas to customers and policymakers alike, and the 2020 edition will take place January 28-29 at the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria Houston, Texas

The Marketing & Policy Conference, formerly the Marketing & Sales Trends & Training Conference (MSTTC) and Policy & Technology Conference, will leave attendees with insight on how to communicate the benefits and increase the end-use of natural gas in their communities as well as presentations on the policy and politics affecting the natural gas end-use market. Attendees will get to hear and participate in:

  • Today's Social Media Strategy and Marketing Material Development
  • Deep Dive into Electrification and Balanced Energy Studies
  • Media Outreach and Messaging
  • Opportunities for Public Gas Utilities and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG)


APGA Gas Supply Conference

The APGA Gas Supply Conference is an annual event focusing on current market changes and challenges of natural gas supply, and the 2020 edition will take place January 28-29 at the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria in Houston, Texas

The Gas Supply Conference will inform attendees about natural gas supply while addressing current market changes and challenges. Attendees will get to hear and participate in:

  • Natural Gas Prepays
  • Natural Gas Hedging
  • Natural Gas Export Predictions & Issues

This conference will run concurrently with the Marketing & Policy Conference which will focus on how to communicate the benefits of natural gas to customers and policymakers alike.
