Board Meetings & Strategic Planning: May 4-6

Make plans to attend the Board Meetings and Strategic Planning Meeting on May 4-6 in Portland, Maine!

APGA's Strategic Planning happens once every three to five years for the association to determine strategy, goals, and priorities over the next few years! This strategic planning session is open to all APGA members, and APGA encourages its members to join us for this important event on May 5-6. The APGA Board of Directors and the Research Foundation (RF) Board of Directors will also hold their quarterly meetings on May 5. 

Consider staying in Portland for an extra day to attend our May 6-7 2025 APGA Spring Conference. APGA hopes you will make plans to join this event! 

Registration & Pricing


There is no fee to attend the Board & Committee Meetings but we still require registration for planning purposes if you plan to attend. 

Register Online

Online Registration Instructions for Attendees: You will need an APGA login to register online. To add the Spring Conference to your Spring Board Meeting & Strategic Planning registration, please select the 2025 Spring Conference session when you are prompted to choose your sessions. When you start the registration form, you will be asked to choose a primary focus for the Spring Conference and you can select 'I do not plan to attend' if you are only attending the Board Meeting and/or Strategic Planning.

If you are registering multiple people from your system or company online, please choose GROUP REGISTRATION and select the attendee option per person. If you are registering a family member to attend the social events (receptions) and not event sessions, please register them as a guest.

Sunday, May 4 at 5 pm: Reception 
Monday, May 5 at 7 am: Breakfast followed by Strategic Planning 
Monday, May 5 at 1 pm: Research Foundation (RF) Board of Directors Meeting
Monday, May 5 at 2 pm: APGA Board of Directors Meeting 
Tuesday, May 6 at 7 am: Breakfast followed by Strategic Planning
Tuesday, May 6 at 1 pm: APGA Spring Conference starts
Wednesday, May 7 at 12 pm (noon): APGA Spring Conference adjourns

Who Should Attend

All APGA members are encouraged to attend Strategic Planning! We value the insights, ideas, and suggestions of each of our members as we plan for the future of our association and appreciate your participation. Also, multiple employees from APGA member systems & companies are welcome to come to share their perspectives.

Conference Location

The Strategic Planning Meeting will take place in Portland, ME. Book your room by April 11 to ensure the APGA Group Rate!

APGA Spring Conference

The 2025 Spring Conference attendees will have the opportunity to attend sessions in any of three tracks: Gas Supply, Communications, and Leadership & Governance. The familiar content from past spring events on gas supply and communications will be offered with the addition of content on leadership and governance.
