The APGA Research Foundation (RF) is sponsoring the Gas Technology Institute (GTI) Virtual Reality (VR) Training Benefits and Capabilities presentation during the APGA Operations Conference on October 23 at 1:00pm ET. GTI’s Ray Deatherage will talk about VR technology and how it can impact systems’ employee training and education program. This session will provide an overview of the benefits and capabilities of VR for the industry. In addition, a review of current and future VR training library content will be performed. Lastly, the new VR platform features in development will be shared. This includes the Virtual Classroom, the OQ Evaluator, and content management tool for customer developed content.

The RF is excited to be involved in bringing this new technology to the industry and hopes gas systems will see the benefit this brings to current and next generation employees.
