On October 22, Jenny Fordham, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the Natural Gas Supply Association (NGSA), presented a webinar that provided an overview of the 2018-2019 NGSA winter outlook. NGSA represents suppliers that produce and market natural gas.

This is the 19th year in a row that they have developed a winter outlook. In her presentation, Jenny discussed market pressure points, which included: weather; the economy; demand; storage; and production. Jenny also discussed projected increases in demand that may come from the residential and commercial sectors as well as in liquefied natural gas exports and in exports via pipeline to Mexico. Jenny also discussed anticipated slight increases in demand from industrial customers as well as from electricity generation.
