On October 24, Jenny Fordham, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the Natural Gas Supply Association (NGSA), presented a webinar that provided an overview of the 2018-2019 NGSA winter outlook. This is the 18th year in a row that they have developed a winter outlook. NGSA represents suppliers that produce and market natural gas. In her presentation, Jenny discussed market pressure points, which included: weather; the economy; demand; storage; and production. Jenny discussed projected increases in demand that may come from the residential and commercial sectors as well as in liquefied natural gas exports and in exports via pipeline to Mexico. Jenny also discussed anticipated slight increases in demand from industrial customers as well as from electricity generation.
