APGA is excited to announce its 2019 Policy and Technology Conference (PTC), which will be held this coming January 29-31. In the past this conference was referred to as the End-Use of Natural Gas Symposium. In 2019, the PTC is scheduled to follow the APGA Winter Board and Committee meetings at the Westin Cape Coral. It will also be held concurrently with APGA’s Gas Supply Conference and Marketing & Sales Trends &Training Conference.

For the 2019 PTC, we will be hearing updates on our industry’s efforts to counter the electrification movement. We will have a session discussing natural gas resiliency. We will also have a session looking at the future of natural gas utilities in a low-carbon future. As well as a session on the impacts and opportunities associated with a carbon tax. Other policy areas we will be discussing are indoor air quality and the use of blockchain technology. Attendees will hear a technology research update as well as a session on self-powering natural gas furnaces.
