The APGA Operations and Safety Committee asks for your input in a survey on how members are complying with the new regulation requiring utilities to notify customers about excess flow valves (EFV) and install an EFV if the customer requests one. The survey asks the following:The APGA Operations and Safety Committee asks for your input in a survey on how members are complying with the new regulation requiring utilities to notify customers about excess flow valves (EFV) and install an EFV if the customer requests one. The survey asks the following:

• What method(s) are you using to notify customers about their right to request an EFV?
• Are you charging the customer for installing an EFV, and if so, how much?
• How many customers have requested to have an EFV installed?
