APGA Members Prepare and Recover from Hurricane Michael

By Erin Kurilla posted 10-11-2018 11:30 AM

Hurricane Michael, the second major hurricane in 2018, made landfall on the Florida panhandle on Wednesday. By preparing in advance and working collaboratively, APGA members are weathering the storm. As Michael moves northeast through areas impacted by Hurricane Florence, flooding continues to be a concern. However, at this time, APGA members are reporting that their systems have maintained service without outages or damages.

APGA continues to participate in daily briefings with the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), the applicable state regulators and other appropriate federal agencies. Any information shared on those calls will be distributed to the members in the storm’s path.

Please let APGA know if there is anything we can do to assist and know that we are thinking of you, your families, your communities and your systems. Stay safe.
