This week in San Antonio, Texas, the Texas Gas Association met for their Annual Operations & Management Conference. Municipal and investor-owned natural gas systems, service providers, and vendors came together to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing natural gas operators in the state of Texas. At the conference, Don Stanton of CPS Energy concluded his chairmanship and provided an outstanding program with speakers from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), the Texas Railroad Commission, Southern Gas Association, and APGA.

Erin Kurilla, Director of Operations & Safety for APGA, highlighted the numerous programs and solutions provided by APGA to both member systems and all natural gas operators. Additionally Erin delivered an overview of the Security & Integrity Foundation’s products and services.
