New Government Relations Director Joins APGA

Doug MacGillivray has joined APGA as its new Director of Government Affairs. He joins the government affairs team ahead of a busy legislative schedule and will contribute to APGA’s congressional and regulatory advocacy capabilities.

At APGA, Doug will focus on advocacy issues related to energy legislation, gas supply, tax policy, and natural gas vehicle policy. This will include direct advocacy, coalition outreach, as well as support in other APGA initiatives.

Prior to joining APGA, Doug served as Director of Federal Affairs for the American Energy Alliance. There, he focused on various energy policy issues including land use, tax and budget policy, as well as upstream/midstream/downstream issues. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University in Political Science and History and is currently pursuing his Master of Arts degree in Government from Johns Hopkins University.
