On September 27 at 3:00 p.m. EST, APGA will host the second electrification webinar in its series on the topic. This webinar is the second in a series of webinars and discussions APGA will be holding this fall. The goal of the webinar series is to explore the electrification movement and discuss how it will impact the direct use of natural gas as well as what APGA’s response should be to this policy movement.

This webinar will focus on the things APGA is doing to promote the direct use of natural gas. We will discuss some of the common issues associated with electrification and the association’s next steps. Register for the webinar at www.apga.org/webinars. 

On August 14, APGA hosted the first electrification webinar. During this webinar, we discussed the American Gas Association’s (AGA) Implications of Policy-Driven Residential Electrification Study. APGA members can find a recording of the webinar at www.apga.org/webinars. 

The third electrification webinar will build upon the previous discussions and will be focused on how APGA should position ourselves in this and the larger energy policy debate. That webinar will be on October 23.
