AGA’s report looks at the potential impacts of “deep decarbonization” policies. Rick Murphy, Managing Director of AGA’s Sustainable Growth Committee, will discuss the report’s findings regarding:
• The environmental impacts of residential electrification;
• The impacts of electrification on natural gas consumers;
• The impacts on the power sector and on electric transmission; and,
• The cost of electrification and how it compares to other possible policy options.
This webinar is the first in a series of webinars and discussions APGA will be holding this fall. The series will explore the electrification movement, discuss how it will impact the direct use of natural gas, and what APGA’s response should be to this policy movement.
