On January 18 at 3:00 p.m. EST, the APGA Research Foundation (RF) will host the second of three webinars discussing the research that is being conducted by the Gas Technology Institute (GTI). The series will focus on the major areas of research the RF supports, advancements in operational technologies, new direct use of natural gas utilization, and emerging technologies.

For our second webinar, we will hear from Dennis Jarnecke who will discuss some of the current research that is being developed that will help shape the future of our industry. Dennis’s group, Operations Technology Development (OTD), concentrates on a wide range of technology issues relating to gas operations and its infrastructure. Some of their current research has focused on developing technologies that enhance safety systems, improve operating efficiencies, reduce operating costs, and maintain system reliability.
This webinar is free for APGA members and all APGA members are encouraged to participate. This is a great opportunity to hear about some of the exciting technologies that is right around the corner. There will also be an opportunity to ask Dennis questions about the work his group is doing.
